Hi, I’m Ashley, an NYC-based student that loves all things marketing, product, and design. xuan is my first internet gallery & design manifesto, made with love on WebFlow.

In mandarin, xuan (炫) means bright, eye-catching, and dazzling color. As an art-obsessed 5 year old, when my parents tasked me with choosing my own chinese name, I lightheartedly picked it because it described the pictures I liked to draw.

Over the years, I’ve found myself growing into this self-appointed name. What started as a simple choice became a creative compass; guiding my thoughts and creations.

Now, xuan is the core philosophy in which I approach my work. There is art in everything, whether we notice it or not. I aspire to bring my bright & colorful artistic vision into the products I create, no matter the medium.
